Delivering each toy in Every Dog Has Her Day solves one of Manhattan's environmental routing puzzles. Use this guide to find the starting fast-travel points, locate the stray dogs and blue plush dragons in all seven zones, and learn where the dog stays in The Gap.

How Every Dog Has Her Day works

Notes: Every Dog Has Her Day is a multi-district side quest spread across seven Manhattan zones and completed at The Gap hub. In each district, a stray dog waits by a bed, and a blue plush dragon toy sits in an adjacent warped structure.

• The Objective: Locate the dog, track down the plush dragon in the immediate sector, carry it back to the dog bed, and deliver it.
• Carrying Restrictions: While holding the plush toy, standard weapon attacks are unavailable. Dylan retains full access to jump, mantle, climb, Shift, and gravity plane transitions.
• Tether Distance: Do not carry the toy too far outside the active sector boundaries, or the toy will despawn back to its original resting spot.
• Order of Completion: You can complete the seven district tasks in any order as zones unlock during the main campaign. The Gap serves purely as the finale once all seven are retrieved.

All dog and toy locations at a glance

West Incursion Zone dog and toy location

• Starting Landmark: Start at the House of Mirrors entrance.
• Dog Location: Turn left from the House of Mirrors and Shift onto the warped wall. Follow the structure past the parking lot onto the inverted rooftop. A paw print icon marks the dog bed on your minimap upon approach.

• Toy Location: From the dog bed, face the CHOWRAP billboard. Cross the gap to the rooftop structure directly adjacent to the sign. The blue plush dragon rests on top of the air ventilation ducting.
• Return Route: Pick up the plush dragon and backtrack across the gap to the dog bed. Deposit the toy to finish the district objective.

Central dog and toy location

• Starting Landmark: Fast travel to the Central Frontline checkpoint.
• Dog Location: Move north along the main street toward East Park Station. Use the scaffolding against the building wall to climb onto the roof. The dog sits on the upper terrace overlooking the street.

• Toy Location: Clear out the hostile Hiss patrols in the alleyway to the east. The plush dragon lies on the ground directly beneath a glowing CHOWRAP neon sign at the end of the laser-trapped corridor.
• Return Route: Pick up the toy, carefully avoid the remaining laser tripwires, and scale the scaffolding back up to the dog bed.

Evacuation Zone dog and toy location

• Starting Landmark: Fast travel to Main Street near the Railway Station.
• Dog Location: Head toward the folded, intersecting skyscrapers. Look for an inverted rooftop illuminated by intense red warning lights. The dog waits on the ceiling terrace.

• Toy Location: Directly opposite the dog's structure stands an inverted CHOWRAP sign. Climb onto the surrounding ledge; the plush dragon rests on a doormat in front of a metal rooftop access door.
• Return Route: Grab the dragon, execute a Shift onto the adjacent wall to invert your gravity plane, and land on the red-lit roof terrace to deliver the toy.

Downtown dog and toy location

• Starting Landmark: Exit through the ground-level doors of the Oldest House.
• Dog Location: Follow the primary roadway heading away from Central until you encounter the collapsed street chasm. Climb the ledges on the right up to an overgrown rooftop garden terrace. The dog is beside the foliage.

• Toy Location: Look across the street from the garden terrace toward the commercial building with the faded billboard. Leap across the gap to the opposite rooftop. The toy is resting on a flattened cardboard box beside the service door.
• Return Route: Pick up the dragon, leap back to the garden terrace, and place it in the dog bed. Delivering this toy triggers the Notes: Every Dog Has Her Day side quest entry and awards ×1 Undefined Reading.

The Park dog and toy location

• Starting Landmark: Fast travel to the Mold Factory control point.
• Dog Location: Exit the factory and climb the northeast structures. The dog waits on a high open roof just outside the yellow mold hazard zone.

• Toy Location: The plush dragon sits on an elevated maintenance workbench across the street, accessible only via an exterior cargo lift that requires electrical power.
• Power Core Route:
  1. Destroy the yellow mold growth sealing the doorway of the small utility building.
  2. Inside, locate the two relay Power Cores.
  3. Carry a charged core from the main power terminal into the utility building to feed the relay circuit.
  4. Plug the final core into the socket at the base of the lift.
  5. Ride the lift to the upper platform to retrieve the toy.

• Return Route: Carry the toy down the lift and return across the rooftops to the dog.

Underpass dog and toy location

• Starting Landmark: Fast travel to the Research Stations checkpoint.
• Dog Location: Advance past the research site toward the elevated catwalks beneath the two square ceiling hatches. The dog is situated on a platform adjacent to a red carpet runner.

• Toy Location: The toy is directly above the dog's position in an inverted office sector. Follow the red carpet up the curved incline, Shift onto the ceiling plane, and locate the plush dragon sitting beside an overturned office desk.

• Return Route:
  1. Pick up the toy and drop through the first square floor hatch onto the exterior office ledge.
  2. Transition your gravity plane to the ledge wall.
  3. Drop through the second matching hatch to land directly beside the dog bed.

Unknown dog and toy location

• Starting Landmark: Fast travel to Tower Island (west of the Field Office).
• Dog Location: From the water tower, drop down two terrace levels toward an isolated garden rooftop decorated with hanging fairy lights. The dog rests under the lights.

• Toy Location: Look northeast toward the warped skyscraper adorned with a vertical BAR sign with downward-pointing chevrons.

• Traversal Route:
  1. Cross the street garden and use Reach to latch onto the tree canopy structure.
  2. Climb the inverted rooftop surface toward the upper residential balconies.
  3. Step onto the balcony floor under the BAR sign to flip gravity.
  4. The plush dragon sits on a table beside an air conditioning unit.
• Return Route: Grab the dragon, jump off the balcony edge back toward the garden rooftop, and place it in the bed.

The Gap: where the dog ends up

Once all seven toys have been returned in their respective zones, fast travel back to The Gap.

The dog now permanently resides inside the hub, resting peacefully in a furnished dog bed located between the equipment upgrade benches and the Combat Abilities terminal. Approach the dog and press the interact prompt to pet it.

• Undefined Readings: Delivering toys grants rare Undefined Reading materials (confirmed on Downtown delivery), essential for high-tier artifact formations at The Gap.
• Trophy Unlock: Petting the dog in The Gap after completing all seven deliveries unlocks the Dog's Best Friend trophy (Gain a furry friend).
