The Steelbook Edition is a physical-only release for PS5 and Xbox Series X. The most complete listing live right now is the Amazon product page (ASIN B0H3WTH82X), which describes five items in the box:

One flag on that list: only Amazon mentions the slipcase. Other outlets covering the edition list four items — the case, the prints, the poster and the disc — so treat the slipcase as single-source until a second retailer confirms it.

What the Steelbook does not include matters just as much. It carries none of the Digital Deluxe extras — no AWE Mission Outfit, no Untapped Artifact (Wallet), no Starter Resource Bundle, no digital artbook and no original soundtrack. And unlike the PS5 Digital Deluxe, it comes with no early access: the disc is a standard launch copy inside a collector's shell.

Two editions share the $69.99 price but buy very different things. The Digital Deluxe spends the premium on in-game and digital extras — and, on PS5, a 48-hour head start on September 22 at 14:00 UTC. The Steelbook spends it on physical collectibles. Where to buy

The Steelbook is not an Amazon exclusive. Early US coverage called it one, but the IGN Deals pre-order roundup on June 12, 2026 linked four retailers — Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart and GameStop — and Collector's Editions tracks the edition across multiple regions and stores. Where things stand today:

Is it worth it?

At $69.99, the Steelbook costs exactly $10 more than the standard disc. That $10 buys the case, three prints, a poster and (per Amazon) the slipcase — collectibles, not gameplay. If you care about what you play rather than what sits on the shelf, the Digital Deluxe is the better-spent $10: it adds five digital extras, and on PS5 it is the only edition that starts early.

If your priority is playing on September 24, no physical edition will do it — discs street on October 15, three weeks after the digital launch. Demand is real, though. The UK PS5 Steelbook sold through its summer preorder allocation, and Amazon US has been showing "currently unavailable" ahead of release — worth keeping in mind if you want one on or near October 15.
