How do you complete The Complete Set in Control Resonant?
On this page
The Complete Set is a Side Story about four rogue SINKKI D50 speakers scattered across Manhattan, a subwoofer locked inside the Oldest House, and a placement ritual at the Downtown Auction House. Find all five pieces, match them to the correct surfaces, and finish the ritual. If the final subwoofer prompt is missing, jump to the known-issue section below.
How to start The Complete Set (Museum vs Auction House)
You can start from either location:
- Museum of Curiosities (West Incursion Zone): inspect the clue inside to add the Downtown Auction House lead to your log.
- Auction House (Downtown): enter the auction house directly to start without collecting the museum clue first.
Both routes lead to The Complete Set under Side Stories. Your next job is to contain and collect the four speakers.
All four SINKKI speaker locations across Manhattan
The pickup UI identifies Speaker 1 at the Auction House, Speaker 2 at the construction site, Speaker 3 at the coffee shop, and Speaker 4 at the museum. You can collect Speaker 4 before Speaker 1, so follow whichever route suits your exploration.
Speaker 1 — the Auction House (Downtown)
The speaker bounces around the auction hall. Approach until it settles, contain it, and pick it up. Talk to the civilians and the recording upstairs afterwards — they hand you the follow-up leads.
- The Complete Set marker on the Downtown map: Investigate the Auction House
- Picking up SINKKI D50 Speaker 1 inside the Auction House
Speaker 2 — the construction site (Central)
Investigate the Collector's Apartment in Central, then follow the lead to the nearby alley. Chase the fleeing speaker to the construction site, contain it, and pick it up.
Two apartment markers lead to different speakers:
- Collector's Apartment: the construction-site speaker.
- Auction Buyer's Apartment: the coffee-shop clue.
Speaker 3 — the coffee shop (Central)
Find the shop with the Atlantis sign in Central. Read the clue inside, then step outside and pursue the speaker into the courtyard. When it pauses, use Contain, then pick it up.
- The coffee shop speaker marker on the Central map
- Picking up SINKKI D50 Speaker 3 outside the coffee shop, with the return objective updated
Speaker 4 — the Museum of Curiosities (West Incursion Zone)
Enter the Museum of Curiosities in the West Incursion Zone and head to the back rooms for the speaker. If the entrance is barricaded, follow the blockade's trails to the sources feeding it and clear them before entering.
- The Museum of Curiosities on the West Incursion Zone map
- Picking up SINKKI D50 Speaker 4 inside the Museum of Curiosities
Get the SR keycard from Langston for the Oldest House subwoofer
Talk to Langston in Central to obtain the Oldest House Storage room keycard, marked SR. Then head to the Oldest House: your objective is the subwoofer in the storage room near Executive Research.
The route through the Oldest House:
- Take the first elevator up toward Executive Research.
- Cross the inspection area and double back to a second lift heading down.
- Step out at the storage level and use the keycard at the door marked SR.
- Inside, find the subwoofer on the shelf, Contain it, and pick it up.

- The SR-marked storage room door, arrow added
The Auction House ritual: where to place all five pieces
Return to the Downtown Auction House and place all five pieces on the leather couch. This is the starting position shown in the setup note; do it before moving the pieces to their individual surfaces.
Place each piece on the matching surface below. You can put the subwoofer in the water before placing the speakers.
| The note asks for | The surface in the hall |
|---|---|
| One speaker on a glass surface | The glass table downstairs, by the stairs |
| One speaker on a rocky surface | The stone plinth on the downstairs stage |
| One speaker on raw wood | The wooden bench upstairs |
| One speaker on the color blue | The blue tarpaulin by the upstairs railing |
| The subwoofer in direct contact with water | The puddle by the caution sign, near the civilians |

- The stone plinth on the stage, arrow added
- The raw wood bench upstairs, arrow added
- The blue tarpaulin by the upstairs railing, arrow added
- The subwoofer standing in the puddle by the caution sign, arrow added
Switch off all four speakers quickly (ritual sequence)
With all five pieces placed, switch off the four speakers quickly, then return to the subwoofer. Leave the subwoofer on until the final choice.
Subwoofer prompt missing: known issue
Finish the current dialogue, then check the subwoofer again. As of September 27, 2026, Remedy lists a missing final interaction prompt in The Complete Set as a known issue, with a fix planned for the next update.
The final subwoofer choice: turn off vs volume up (spoilers)
The note's last line reads: turn it up to open the gate, or turn it off to close it. With the speakers off, the subwoofer asks you its question. The wheel gives you two options:
- Turn the subwoofer off — the civilians lose their footing and drop where they stand; Dylan apologizes, and the quest completes.
- Turn the volume up — the civilians get back up, and the quest continues through a Talk to the Civilian objective; the conversation that follows has the civilian speaking in more than one voice.
Both branches end at the same completion screen.
Quest rewards: Untapped Bout Guard artifact
Both endings unlock the Untapped Bout Guard. Craft and equip the artifact in The Gap to use it in your loadout.
- Quest Completed and the Untapped Bout Guard after turning it off
- Quest Completed and the Untapped Bout Guard after turning it up and talking to the civilian
Done with the set? The same zone-hopping structure runs through The Last Taxi and Every Dog Has Her Day.
FAQ
A side quest. It sits under Side Stories in the quest log, and you can start it from the Museum of Curiosities clue or by walking into the Auction House.
Four SINKKI D50 speakers and one subwoofer. The speakers are at the Auction House, the construction site, the coffee shop and the Museum of Curiosities.
The rooftop and ledge routes shown here use Shift.
No. Match each piece to the listed surface; the subwoofer can go into the water first.
The setup note tells you to be quick. Switch off all four speakers back-to-back, then return to the subwoofer for the final choice.
The Untapped Bout Guard artifact, granted on completion. Both endings of the final choice give it, so pick the one you want to see.
Both options complete the quest and grant the same artifact. They differ in what happens to the civilians — the details are in the final-choice section below, behind spoiler marks.
Finish the current dialogue and check again. A missing final subwoofer prompt is also a listed known issue; see the known-issue section for the dated update.
